Readers of the European Best Destinations portal selected Nugal as the third most beautiful beach in the Old Continent in 2019, and the prestigious Conde Nast Traveler ranked it among the 25 most beautiful beaches in Europe a year later.
This drew the public's attention to the previously hidden beach, which resulted in an increasing number of swimmers eager for such places away from the crowds. We should mention that Nugal is officially a naturist beach (FKK). Naturists, above all, appreciate the peace and quiet that have reigned here for years and hope that Nugal will remain that way.
How to get to Nugal Beach?
This piece of paradise on earth is located on the Osejava peninsula, a park-forest that stretches from Makarska to Tučepi. It can be reached by boat or by taking a walk through the woods. The most beautiful road is a 40-minute walk from Tučepi through the park-forest Osejava. Equip yourself well with food and drinks because there are no restaurants or bars on the beach, and wear shoes suitable for hiking.
