Bluesun Hotel Maestral, the gem of Dalmatian tourism, has become a member of the prestigious Preferred Hotels & Resorts, the largest network of independent hotel brands in the world. With this partnership, Bluesun Hotel Maestral joined the company of 600 unique hotels, resorts and residences from 80 countries, as part of the famous Lifestyle collection Preferred Hotels & Resorts.

Preservation of the heritage of modernism

Bluesun Hotel Maestral is a famous work of post-war Croatian modernism and a symbol of the architectural heritage of Brela and the Makarska Riviera. With a major renovation in 2022/2023, the Hotel presented new rooms, interiors and a new wellness and spa center, while maintaining the spirit of everyone's favorite "old" Maestral.

Design and cultural heritage

Built between 1962 and 1965, Bluesun Hotel Maestral is a masterpiece of architects Ante Rožić, Julius De Luca and Matija Salaj, while the interiors were designed by the famous Bernardo Bernardi.

Located in a quiet pine forest by the beach, the Hotel offers peaceful rest and privacy just a few minutes' walk from the famous Punta Rata beach. Guests can also enjoy the Hotel's artistic heritage, which includes the works of famous Croatian artists Edo Murtić and Vasko Lipovac.
